GARDEN GROVE, CA—Laboratory cancer scientist Diedre Thu-Ha Nguyen, who currently serves as a Garden Grove City Councilmember, today announced receiving the endorsement of Congressmen Lou Correa, Alan Lowenthal, and Harley Rouda for her campaign in Assembly District 72.
“I look forward to working with Lou, Alan, and Harley to increase collaboration between the state and federal governments so we can increase California’s share of federal money,” said Councilmember Nguyen.
Ms. Nguyen was first elected to serve on the Garden Grove City Council in 2016. She was re-elected in 2018 by an even larger margin of victory. By profession, Diedre Thu-Ha works in Molecular Oncology and is a Clinical Cytogeneticist.
Assembly District 72 is located in north central Orange County and includes the cities of Seal Beach, Westminster, Fountain Valley, and Los Alamitos, portions of Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, and Santa Ana, and the communities of Rossmoor and Midway City.
