GARDEN GROVE, CA—Laboratory cancer scientist Diedre Thu-Ha Nguyen, who currently serves as a Garden Grove City Councilmember, today announced receiving the endorsement of Community Action Fund of Planned Parenthood of Orange & San Bernardino Counties.
“Diedre Nguyen has demonstrated her commitment to advancing women’s reproductive health in Orange County. Her unflinching support for reproductive rights and strong advocacy in the community make her a champion for women of all ages.”
Ms. Nguyen was first elected to serve on the Garden Grove City Council in 2016. She was re-elected in 2018 by an even larger margin of victory. By profession, Diedre Thu-Ha works in Molecular Oncology and is a Clinical Cytogeneticist.
Assembly District 72 is located in north central Orange County and includes the cities of Seal Beach, Westminster, Fountain Valley, and Los Alamitos, portions of Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, and Santa Ana, and the communities of Rossmoor and Midway City.
